Promoting Excellence for people with Dementia
Three advisers have now been appointed to take forward the work in relation to supporting the implementation of the Promoting Excellence (in dementia care) framework. Between now and 31 March 2012 they will work with private, voluntary and statutory providers of care home, care at home and adult day care services. Through these activities and engagement with wider key stakeholders they will begin to identify learning needs and expertise within the sector in relation to dementia care. The activities will be supported by a number of associates across Scotland who will deliver local events to raise awareness of the framework, develop, harness and nurture collaborative networks and to identify local dementia change leaders.
